How do I get Best Rack to calculate freight costs?

In order for Best Rack to calculate freight costs, the following must be pre-defined through Freight Management:

• • The Best Rack location must be associated with a destination through Freight Management.

  • If you use a custom location group as your Best Rack location, each location within the custom location group must be associated with the same destination through Freight Management.

  • The freight miles for the distance between each Best Rack location (i.e., the origin or loading terminal) and the destination must be defined through Freight Management.

  • The freight mileage rate table within Freight Management must include a range that covers the distance between the Best Rack location (i.e., origin terminal) and the destination.

  • (EFM users only) Destinations must be tied to a delivery area.
