You can use the Blended Prices screen to select from 1-3 component products. The amount of each product is specified as a percentage of the whole. The percentage of all components must add up to 100%.
When creating a blended price, the first product you enter will be considered the primary product, no matter what percentage you assign to it. The supplier of the primary product will become the supplier associated with the blended product/price on the following screens: Blended Prices, Price Analysis, and Best Rack.
For your base price, you can specify the supplier whose pricing you would like to use on a component by component basis. Or you can use pricing from a single supplier. The blend is then saved as a single product and assigned to the terminals you want.
Prices are calculated based on the weighted average of each component. When the posted price for any of the components changes, the blended price will be automatically updated.
