Price Analysis shows you the posted rack price for each product at a specified location or terminal. You can quickly see which supplier has the lowest price for a product. You can then compare that price to DTN’s Spot market price for your spot market group and to DTN FastRack averages and lows, if you are a FastRacks subscriber. If price formulas and/or blended prices are part of your pricing mix, they can be included on the Price Analysis screen. With that information, you can see how your supplier stacks up against other suppliers and against the market in general.
The filters at the top of the Price Analysis screen let you narrow your analysis to only the information you want. You can see prices that are in effect for a specific supplier at a designated location. Or you can view prices that were in effect at a specific time and on a specific date (up to 30 days in the past).
