Typically terminals are grouped around the terminal city where they are located. But you can create your own terminal group any way you want through Custom Locations.
-
In Custom Locations, add a new custom location group that includes the terminals you want.
-
Next go to Freight Management and create a destination group with the same name as used in Step 1. Make sure you add each of the terminals as a destination. Also make sure you add Freight Miles for the distance between your origin location and each destination terminal in the group.
-
Go to Best Rack and select your origin location.
-
For the Destination Location, select your custom destination group.
-
Enter the products and gallons of each product you want.
-
Click Search.
Best Rack will return a report that includes freight costs for each terminal location. You can quickly see which terminal location represents the best overall price for you.
