Custom Locations are typically terminals are grouped around the terminal city where they are located. But you can create your own terminal group any way you want through Custom Locations. You can use Custom Locations to group terminals with which you routinely do business or group terminals located in an area where you routinely deliver product. These custom location groups will be listed as a Location option for Price Analysis and Best Rack.

You can use Custom Locations to:

  • Group multiple terminal locations into a single custom location

  • Group terminals with which you routinely do business then find the best price through Price Analysis

  • Group terminals located in an area where you routinely deliver product then compare the cost of freight through Best Rack

Location Groups Displays your location groups. You can use the links to Edit, Delete, and View a selected location group. If the location group is ”Set By Admin” you will not be able to change or delete it unless you are an Enterprise Administrator.
Location Your name for the location.
Select Terminals To select the terminals that will be grouped under the new location name, click the selection box to the left of the terminals you want.

 


Add a Custom Location

Location:  Fuel Buying  >  Price Management  >  Custom Locations

By setting up Custom Location Groups, you can place multiple terminal locations within one group to filter price information and decide where you can save the most money for delivery.

  If the custom location group is “Set by Admin” you will not be able to change or delete it unless you are an Enterprise Administrator.

  1. Enter the name of the location group you want to set up in the Location Name field.

  2. Select Manage Terminals.

  3. Either scroll through the terminals or search for specific terminals using the Search field.

  4. Click + to add each terminal.

  5. Click Save and verify that you’ve selected all the terminals you’d like to include in that group.

  6. Click Add Location Group. Your new group appears in the Location Groups column.
