Custom Prices overview
The prices you see in the DTN Fuel Buyer are typically transmitted from your suppliers through DTN to you. Custom Prices makes it possible to add prices that you don’t receive through DTN. The price can be set up for a supplier that is already in the DTN system. Or you can create a custom supplier (through the Custom Supplier screen) for a private brand supplier or other supplier that is not in the DTN system, and then associate a custom price to that supplier. You can also associate the custom price to specific terminals and products. Custom Prices display on the Price Analysis and Best Rack screens.
You can use Custom Prices to:
- Add prices you don’t receive through DTN.
- Associate a custom price to a custom supplier.
- Associate a custom price to specific terminals and products.
- View the custom price through Market Analysis, Price Analysis and Best Rack.
- Add a custom price list for managing multiple prices at one time.
